These beautiful vegan wood candles are hand poured with natural soy wax in a handmade rustic 16cm olive wood boat shaped bowl and come with sea shells and hand poured flower decoration (option: please select the complement and specify the color of the wax flowers in the shopping cart).

They smell of the Mediterranean and can be used long after the candle has burned out. Afterwards, use your olive wood bowl to serve nibbles or to store jewellery.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it away from children, pets and flammable objects.

• For best results, on the first lighting, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container to ensure an even burn.

• Remove any flowers and decorations that are floating too close to the burning wick to avoid catching them on fire

• Always shorten the wick 3-5 mm before each lighting.

• You may notice fluctuations or sweating in the wax. This is normal for natural wax and will not affect the performance of the candle.

Olive wood is a beautiful, durable and hygienic wood. Please hand wash only and care for the wood (after the candle has burned) by occasionally wiping over it with a little vegetable or canola oil to maintain its beauty.

Do not expose it to water or sunlight excessively. The natural olive wood is hundreds of years old and may have knots, small natural cracks, etc. which add to its unique character. The beautiful grain, shape and size of the candle varies with each piece.

CANDLE CARE
Do you want your candle to last longer with minimal soot? Make sure you trim the wick to 3-5mm before every single new burn. Burn your candle not longer than 4 hours. The first time you light your candle, make sure to let it burn as long as necessary to melt the wax to all edges of the candle.

Each piece is handmade by me in Belgium.
Because all of these items are handmade and not mass produced, they may have some imperfections such as: minor discoloration of the wax, slightly off-centered label, tiny markings on the outside of the jar, crackling of the wax surface etc. None of these impact the quality of the candle.
